Olympic success gets Brits on their bikes

A new national poll has found that more than half the country has been inspired to get on their bikes following the success of the British Olympic Cycling team. Research by the London School of Economics has also revealed a new attitude to cycling among Britons, with more taking part in mass bike rides, going on cycling holidays or making a trip to watch a competitive cycling event. Bike sales have shot up and thousands more have joined British Cycling since the summer triumphs at the Olympic and Paralympic games.
