It’s Bike Week!
This year’s Bike Week runs from 16-24 June 2012, see the calendar on the right for details of local events.
Last weekend saw a group of us visit MoSI on Saturday for their Bike Picnic social event, and then we went for a gentle Tweed Ride around Salford and Manchester. On Sunday the annual Mersey Valley Family Ride went from Sale and Chorlton water parks to Reddish Vale and back along the Trans-Pennine Trail and the Fallowfield Loop cycleway.
There are Dr Bike repair/servicing events and social rides every evening this week. Next weekend sees Bike Fabulous return to Manchester Arndale on Saturday, and there are events in Prestwich and Whitefield on Sunday.
