Dates for GMCC’s 2017 social rides

| |

GMCC holds monthly social bike rides during summertime, usually on the penultimate Thursday of the month.
The rides go from Manchester city centre to various destinations around Greater Manchester.

Discover pleasant, low traffic routes out of the city, and visit places with scenic, cultural and historical interest.

The rides always call at a café, pub or restaurant for sustenance, liquid refreshments and plenty of cycling chat!

Provisional dates and destinations for 2017 are as follows:

April 20th – Vale Cottage, Gorton via the Ashton Canal and “Yellow Brick Road”

May 18th – Fletcher Moss, Didsbury via the Wilmslow Road corridor

June 22nd – Heaton Park & The Woodthorpe

July 20th – Park Bridge & The Woodhouse Gardens

August 17th – Canals to Worsley

September 21st – Clifton Country Park & The Horseshoe

October 19th – Mersey Valley / Chorlton

Meet from 5.30pm in Albert Square, Manchester city centre, for a 6pm departure.
No need to join or sign up, just turn up and ride.
We ride at a gentle pace with a ride leader and back marker.
The rides are organised by our social secretary Rob Raikes – raikes[at]gmail.com
