Bike Week Events
Saturday 17th June Manchester Cycle Fair, 12:00-16:00, St Ann’s Square, Manchester - look out for the GMCC stall.
Wednesday 21st June meet Albert Square 18:00 for bike ride (about 10 miles there and back) to Salford Quays reception with Mayor of Salford and cyclists from Bury and Salford.
Friday 23rd June Cycling Pub Crawl, 12 miles approx, meet Lloyd’s Hotel, Wilbraham Road, Chorlton, 18:00 - watch this space for further details.
Sunday 25 June Manchester Cycleway opening event, incorporating a ‘Loop the Loop’ ride (16 miles), starting at Chorlton Park (Beechwood Avenue entrance) 10:00s. Other timings: 10:45 Albert Square, 11:30 Manchester velodrome (Chris Hoy joins the ride), 12:00 Press call with Chris Hoy and Lord Mayor at Debdale Park, 13:30 arrive back in Chorlton Park for picnic.
