GMCC 2012 Social Rides

GMCC holds monthly social bike rides during summertime, usually on the penultimate Thursday of the month.

Rides go from Manchester city centre to various destinations around Greater Manchester.
Discover pleasant, low traffic routes out of the city, and visit places with scenic, cultural and historical interest.
The rides always call at a café, pub or restaurant for sustenance, liquid refreshments and plenty of cycling chat!

Provisional dates and destinations for 2012 are as follows:

March 21st – Vale Cottage, Gorton

April 18th – Jackson’s Boat, Sale/Chorlton

May 23rd – Fletcher Moss, Didsbury

June 20th – TBA

July 18th – Clifton Country Park (M27 6NG) & The Horseshoe (M26 1FT)

August 22nd – Canals to Worsley

September 19th – Heaton Park (M25 2SW) & The Woodthorpe (M25 0EG)

October 24th – Park Bridge (OL6 8AQ) & The Hartshead (OL6 9AQ)

Meet at Albert Square, Manchester city centre, 6pm
No need to join or sign up, just turn up and ride.
We ride at a gentle pace with a ride leader and back marker.
